JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Business Analyst works individually and in a team environment interfacing with customers, project sponsors, and team members to gather and develop business and system requirements for new application development and for ongoing support of existing and deployed applications.
- Interface with clients directly to coordinate and effect requirements-gathering activities.
- Previously Oversaw various system projects of a highly complex nature.
- Determine and develop business system requirements.
- Analyze stated requirements in the context of information technology delivery.
- Support project development throughout the lifecycle through and including testing and implementation.
- Provide post-implementation support.
- Generate and distribute project documentation as guided by the project manager.
- Communicate on a regular basis with the project manager, developers and other team members on the project, as well as with the client to capture and document all information necessary for the project.
- Superior written English language communication skills are a must. Significant documentation is required for recording and delivery of non-functional, functional, business rule, and business process artifacts.
- A detail-oriented approach combined with agile thinking in a problem-solving environment is required.
- While the ability to work independently is needed, the IT Business Analyst must be able to operate effectively as part of a team.
