PROJECT MANAGER - Long Beach, CA

JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager will be responsible for advising our clients on available alternatives and help identify the optimal solution. The Project Manager will act as the main technical resource from the consulting side and will guide the client(s) through completing all tasks and deliverables.

  • Highly skilled in planning and managing the technical design, construction and delivery of applications. Heavy custom solutions experience either in Java, .net or BI Solutions.
  • Previously Oversaw various system projects of a highly complex nature.
  • Had responsibility for project from original concept through final implementation.
  • Defined project scope and objectives, develop work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and status reports.
  • Effectively communicated project expectations, project goals and scope to the team.
  • Managed product quality by ensuring project control and development methods are followed.
  • Monitored development process and manage scope changes.
  • Communicated project direction, approach, priorities, events and status to all project resources and business sponsors.
  • Insured project deliverables are on time and on budget while meeting customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Tracked project progress and conducted status meetings.
  • Experiences with formal development methodologies (e.g. RUP and Agile Development).
  • Had Solid experience with estimating; project scheduling/planning and tracking methods.
  • Knowledge of risk and issue management.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions and understanding of use cases.
  • Experienced with quality management and various testing methods (e.g. Unit, Integration, System, Functional, and UAT)
  • Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team building and business development capabilities.
