CarRelate.com, A New Way of Car Buying.
The CarRelate project is a combined Strategy and Web Channel Solutions project. Laurysis Strategist worked with CarRelate's founders to develop a business around the social networking and car buying. Our Strategists helped developed the business model and plan for CarRelate.
CarRelate.com provides access to automobile research, car configuration, invoice pricing, dealership and sales professional reviews/rating and finally a communication channel to dealers and sales professionals.
Being a fixed price/fixed time project, Laurysis shared the risks with our client for a successfull launch. Laurysis delivered the project on time and on budget which enabled CarRelate to go live on BETA, August 2009. CarRelate plans to go GA January 1, 2010 with the help of Laurysis in providing additional enhancements for CarRelate.com
Knowledge Adventure : Strategy, Web Channel Solutions and Outsourcinghttp://www.knowledgeadventure.com/
Laurysis provided Strategic Product Services for one of its key products. Laurysis led and conceived the social media strategy, business plan and implementation roadmap for one of its CD-ROM products to be delivered through a web channel. Laurysis' product strategy and business model/plan eventually became the catalyst for Knowledge Adventures jump into their web centric product approach.
Laurysis helped reduce Knowledge Adventure's cost by providing Outsourcing development and Quality Assurance services during the build out of www.jumpstart.com. Laurysis' Web Channel Solution services provided the right level of support and expertise during this phase of the project while containing cost and continuing to deliver quality deliverables.
Laurysis delivered an average 40% reduced cost to Knowledge Adventure during the Quality Assurance and Web Development projects through Laurysis Outsourcing.

Laurysis customizes and integrated Elastic Path’s out-of-the-box functionalities with Louis and Company’s critical SAP business functions:

- Real-time Payment Option retrieval and processing
- Real-time SAP Order Processing
Laurysis implemented a Service Oriented Architecture using ALSB/SAP Smart Connect Adapter to externalize SAP functionality. To provide Louis and Company with greater freedom, Laurysis developed reusable web services for future ecommerce initiatives.
SAP/Elastic Path profile integration
A new Commerce Manager interface was developed that would allow an administrator to associate multiple SAP users with the Elastic Path profile. Elastic Path could then send user information to SAP/R3 as necessary for customer/contract specific pricing/product availability.
Laurysis had previously completed many SAP integrations with other enterprise class ecommerce solutions. This SAP integration with the Elastic Path framework went very smoothly.
Louis and Company is happy with the end result, as their unique requirements were able to be delivered quickly and easily, on time and on budget.
